Who is responsible for patient care?

Hospice services are typically brought to whoever the patient calls home. Home could be a private residence, assisted living community, or nursing home. Patients can also receive hospice care while at the hospital.

Does the hospice pay for all medications and supplies?

The hospice is responsible for all equipment and supplies and medications that pertain to the patient’s primary diagnosis and manage pain.
